Closner Equipment Co. Inc. has named Josh Alaniz as Operations Manager for their DFW store. The newly created position includes oversight of Field & Shop Technicians, and Parts personnel. In addition, he will lead Closner’s state-wide Safety initiative. Alaniz has served in multiple Service Management roles since joining Closner in 2017. Prior to Closner, Alaniz amassed 10 years of Operations experience in the oil & gas industry in Texas and the Western US.

Closner Equipment Company Inc. has been selected as one of Gomaco’ top dealers. The award is presented in January of each year at the World of Concrete in Las Vegas. Closner has won the award 19 times since joining the Gomaco team in 1988. Closner represents Gomaco in Central, South and portions of West Texas.
Closner’s Moves into New Fort Worth Facility
Closner Equipment Company has completed construction of their full-service facility in Rhome. Closner broke ground in early 2017 at 6532 East SH 114 in Rhome. Sitting on 9 acres of land just west of IH35, the 21,000-square foot facility provides sales, rentals, long term leases, parts, major re-builds, and field service for Closner’s focused line of asphalt, concrete, reclamation and stabilization machinery.

Texas-based Closner Equipment Company was recently honored with the Roadtec “Eagle” Award for Top Dealer of the Year 2017. The award was presented by John Irvine, Roadtec President, to Bennett Closner, President of Closner Equipment, in Las Vegas at the AED Summit in January.

Closner Equipment Company Inc. has been selected as the exclusive dealer for Carlson Paving Products for 172 Counties in Texas. Carlson, along with sister company Roadtec, are brands within Astec Industries. Carlson is the largest producer of Asphalt Screeds in North America and manufactures a full line of commercial pavers at their Tacoma, Washington factory.
