Big and Bold: Dynapac CC7000 VI Debuts as the World's Heaviest Asphalt Roller

Built for demanding, large-scale compaction
The all-new CC7000 VI made its official debut at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026. Dynapac states that it is the heaviest asphalt roller on the market. The roller weighs about 33,100 lb, with an operating weight of more than 32,300 lb. Dynapac designed it for difficult, high-production compaction work.
The drum has a diameter of 55.1 in, the largest in Dynapac's asphalt range. The larger drum helps reduce rolling resistance and asphalt shoveling. The static linear load ranges from 189.3 to 213.9 lb/in for demanding paving projects.
Efficiency engineered into the drum
The redesigned drum uses cartridge-style eccentric housings that require less oil. Dynapac's patented Efficiency Eccentrics reduce vibration start-up energy by 50 percent. The system places less stress on components and can reduce wear over time.
These changes give high-production paving crews strong compaction force, efficient operation, and easier long-term service.
