Ride-on rollers, pavers, screeds & material feeders
Warranted free from defects in materials and workmanship for 24 months from the date of first use or 2,000 hours of operation, whichever occurs first.
- Warranty start = first day of use. If first-use date is not reported, the dealer invoice date is used as the start date.
- If the unit hasn't been sold within 6 months of dealer receipt, the warranty period begins automatically on that 6-month date.
- Engines are covered under their own OEM warranty (see below).
- Screeds on pavers not produced by Dynapac are covered under the screed OEM's warranty.
Light compaction equipment — extended component coverage
Light compaction units (rammers, forward plates, reversible plates, double drum rollers, utility rollers) carry a 12-month base warranty with extended coverage on engines (24 months) and select drivetrain components (36 months), per the table below.
| Product | 3 Years | 2 Years | 1 Year |

| DR — Rammers | Spring & guide unit | Engine | Standard warranty |

Engine coverage (OEM warranties)
Engines installed in Dynapac equipment are covered under the engine manufacturer's warranty, not under Dynapac's warranty. Claims for engine defects are filed through the engine OEM's authorized service network (Closner can assist).
Genuine Dynapac parts
Dynapac Genuine Parts sold separately (not the parts installed in a new machine from factory) are warranted free from defects in materials and workmanship for 6 months from first use or 1,000 hours of operation, whichever occurs first. Parts subject to normal wear and tear are excluded.
What's not covered
The Dynapac warranty does not apply in any of the following circumstances. This list is summarized for readability — the full Dynapac Distributor Policy is the controlling document.
- Preventative maintenance and routine adjustments — brakes, valves, chains, electronic steering calibration, retightening of bolts/nuts/couplings, etc.
- Damage from negligence, unauthorized modifications, improper storage, abuse, accidents, or failure to follow the machine's operation and maintenance manual.
- Normal aging and wear items — hoses, fittings, seals, fuel, ground engaging parts, scraper blades, brake discs, friction linings, batteries, tires, tubes, screed heating elements, oil, grease, hydraulic fluid, coolant, air filters, and rubber items.
- Deterioration from corrosion, chemical, electrical, or other harmful environmental influences.
- Failures caused by non-Dynapac parts, accessories, consumables, or attachments.
- Hydraulic pump, motor, or cylinder replacement where a seal or seal kit would have economically repaired the unit.
- Damage from transport, towing, cranes, hauling, loading/unloading, or storage by carriers or third parties.
- Damage caused by third parties or by the customer's own workmanship.
- Acts of God — fire, flood, earthquake, weather, strike, war, civil disturbance, or any other cause beyond reasonable control.
- Claims under $50, and claims submitted after the warranty period.
- Indirect or consequential losses — loss of profit, loss of production, downtime, rental of replacement units, loss of contract, or business interruption. Dynapac's total liability is capped at 25% of the unit's purchase price.
Important — Dyn@Link telematics required
Machines equipped with Dyn@Link telematics must keep the system active and transmitting throughout the warranty period. Dynapac uses Dyn@Link service-hour and event data to validate claims and confirm that mandatory service intervals were performed. If Dyn@Link is deactivated for any reason, the warranty claim will not be processed.
Closner installs and registers Dyn@Link on every applicable machine at delivery. If the unit is moved between jurisdictions or sold to a new owner, call us so we can keep the telematics record straight.
How to file a warranty claim
- Call Closner first. Don't start a repair until we've confirmed coverage — repairs over the pre-authorization threshold (varies by machine class) require a written approval number from Dynapac before work begins.
- Bring the machine to a Closner service location, or schedule a field-service call. We'll diagnose, photograph the failure, and pull the Dyn@Link telematics record for the claim.
- We file the Claims Report with Dynapac within 30 days of repair completion and handle return shipping of any failed parts Dynapac asks to inspect.
- Use genuine Dynapac parts and consumables throughout the warranty period — using third-party parts voids the warranty on affected components.
- Keep your service records. Dynapac may request proof that recommended maintenance intervals were performed using correct parts. Closner can pull your service history from our system on request.
