Closner Equipment Company Inc. has been selected as the exclusive dealer for Carlson Paving Products for 172 Counties in Texas. Carlson, along with sister company Roadtec, are brands within Astec Industries. Carlson is the largest producer of Asphalt Screeds in North America and manufactures a full line of commercial pavers at their Tacoma, Washington factory.
JB Closner stated “this is a great fit with our Roadtec line, which we have represented since 2010. These divisions work together seamlessly and will allow us to handle the full range of paving products from Interstates down to parking lots”. Closner’s territory cover will cover an area from the Texas Panhandle to the Gulf Coast. Carlson products will initially be stocked at Closner’s Ft. Worth and Austin branches.
