The Stewart-Amos Starfire S-4c is a heavy-duty 4.0 cubic yard dual-engine mechanical broom street sweeper built on a highly maneuverable 19,500 lb GVWR cab-over chassis. It gives contractors and municipalities productive mechanical broom sweeping without requiring a CDL under the published chassis rating.
The S-4c is designed for day-in, day-out sweeping on confined city streets, cul-de-sacs, construction cleanup, milling work, chip seal cleanup, and open-road applications. Its short wheelbase, 16 ft 9 in turning radius, 10 ft maximum sweeping path, and highway-speed travel make it a practical choice when one sweeper needs to move quickly between scattered jobs.
